The Bigband
Through the years, and with the year-long dedication of Charles, the various sections in the big band have grown together to form a high-performing jazz band. Having recorded two CD’s, “Fresh-outta-school” (1999) and “Actual Proof!” (2004), participating in international (e.g. Le Mans, France; Bologna, Italy; Tampere, Finland) and national (e.g. Breda) jazz festivals, supporting many varieties of gala’s, parties, musicals and gigs in jazz bars, Studentproof’s stages are wide-spread. With a repertoire of over 200 arrangements, almost anything is possible.
Mockingbird Trio

Brought together by a love for vocal jazz standards, the trio has been playing together since October 2023.
As a group of multi-instrumentalists they offer musical variety through an intimate setup, finding charm in the notion of less is more.
ConFusion
ConFusion was formed in 2024 by musicians with a common love and interest for fusion music. With music originating from the 70s up until the current time, the band has a wide variety of music to offer. The band likes to challenge itself with songs from all-time great fusion players like Billy Cobham and The Brecker Brothers, but also contemporary artists like Nate Smith and Vulfpeck. With lots of enthusiasm and joy for music, it is guaranteed that ConFusion will bring a performance of great interplay and jaw-dropping solos, where the band will fuse together to bring a unique experience to the listener!
Eindhoven Jazz Orchestra
Eindhoven Jazz orchestra is an amateur bigband on semi-professional level from Eindhoven. The ensemble consists out of four trumpets, five saxophones, four trombones and a rythm section of keys, bass and drums. The songs vary from the swing period with legendary names such as Count Basie and Duke Ellington, to artists such as Oliver Nelson, John Coltrane, Buddy Rich, Thad Jones, Jerry van Rooyen and Bob Mintzer to current componsists such as Path Metheny as well as pieces from the library from Brussels Jazz Orchestra.
Jammer Man
We are jammer man, a group of enthusiastic musicians who play a variety of tunes that we have given their own sound using the original song as a base. Jammer man consists of Jaap (guitar), Ivo (drums), Jop (bass), Gijs (vocals) and Daniël (keys). The name of the band could be considered somewhat ambiguous and has quite a different meaning in English compared to Dutch. In English, the name represents the infamous workflow of the band during their rehearsals: it all starts with a serious attempt to expand their repertoire, but ends in one big jamming/improv session where every band member forgets about reality and gets carried away by the endless vibes. In Dutch, the name would represent what is often the first reaction of the audience when the band is playing live on stage: “This is jammer man.”
Jazzmine
The term ‘Jazz’ first could have originated from ‘jasmine’, nobody really knows, just like the diversity of our music. Since our formation in 2019, Jazzmine has been unleashing a diverse collection of funk, soul, and jazz. We’re here to make you groove and have fun! From the timeless classics of Stevie Wonder to the irresistible energy of contemporary tunes like those of Marcus King. Our seven-piece ensemble consists of a rhythm section that includes drums, guitar, bass and piano, a 3-person horn section and a singer.

Hootie Tootie
Hootie Tootie has been playing the blues since 2017 and their years are reflected in how comfortably they command the stage. These friends have fun with the audience and eachother as they groove to your favorite Soul and Rock n Roll tunes. Be prepared for swinging solo’s and high energy. Don’t forget your dancing shoes, for Hootie Tootie will surely get the people on their feet!
Defuse
Defuse is an instrumental fusion trio consisting of drums, bass and guitar. Formed in early 2019, Defuse has steadily built up a repertoire of original music, inspired by artists such as John Scofield, Guthrie Govan, and Tool, and have been referred to as having a sound similar to Primus. Grooves and chords rooted in jazz and funk are easily blended together with riffs and time signatures that reminds one of progressive rock. They will provide you a show filled with groove and improvisation.
FnF Collectif
FnF Collectif is a funk trio consisting of guitar, bass and drums. Groove, strong rhythmic ideas and love for funk drives the group to present a repertoire of originals and covers, and make you feel the beat!
De Baron
De Baron creates Guerrilla-Brass. Steaming Brass, urban Balkan & art rock, in their mother language. They create loving anarchy and give off high levels of energy to the audience.
Jazzal
Jazzal has been a part of Studentproof Jazz since 2009. In its current formation, the band aspires to be versatile in its song choices. Jazz, funk, soul, Latin music – you name it – all kinds of influences can be found in their repertoire. Their songs range from fusion arrangements like “Gone Under” and “Love Boat” to songs more widely known by everyone such as “Toxic” and “Son of a Preacher Man”. Bringing out the best in their performances is what they strive for. The combo consists of a rhythm section, a three-man horn section, and a singer. Let them surprise you with their refreshing tunes!
Aeris Brass Band
Aeris Brass band is a new-orleans inspired brass band playing a mixed repertoire of jazzy pop covers and hip hop/jazz music. Aeris knows how to play energetic music and how to get the crowd going. Standing still is not an option, dancing is gratis!
